SPCA Westchester is a non-profit established in 1883 based in Westchester County in the state of New York. As well as the rescue and rehoming of ~780 animals a year through their shelter, they provide the counties only low-cost veterinary clinic and have performed 70,000 spay/neuters since 1983. Their other programs include humane law enforcement and cruelty investigation contracts with several municipalities, emergency foster services for abuse victim’s pets and a multifaceted behavior and enrichment program for their shelter and owned dogs.
Following the development of their new high-spec Animal Rescue Center, Dogs Trust USA provided replacement and new veterinary equipment for the Cody's Clinic; ranging from surgical, anesthetic and dental equipment, to a hydraulic grooming tub. This equipment will help them provide a wider range of services and higher quality of care for the animals they serve.
