New York City, New York, June 1, 2023 – Dogs (and their humans) will run the city during Dogs Trust USA’s second annual Big ‘Y’Apple 5k on Saturday, October 28 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. in Tribeca on Pier 25. Runners, walkers, and their canine friends can register now for $30 at bit.ly/walkrunwagnyc.

Dogs Trust USA, an NYC-based 501(c)(3) dog welfare organization, will use proceeds from the event to help dogs in New York and across the U.S. to live happy and healthy lives.

On-site registration and pre-registration will begin at 10 a.m. at Hudson River Park, West Street, New York, NY 10013. Sponsorship are opportunities available.

“In four short years, we have supported over 100,000 dogs and people nationally through our professional development, Dog School, and fundraising programs,” said Owen Sharp, President of Dogs Trust USA. “With supporting funds from the Big ‘Y’Apple, we can provide our expertise where it’s most needed and elevate the quality of care for shelter pups, help them get rehomed in a shorter time, and live harmoniously in their homes and communities."
