Helping dogs across America to live safe, happy lives

Sacramento SPCA

Founded in 1892, the Sacramento SPCA has been providing homeless animals with individual comfort, shelter, and love for more than 129 years. Serving the entire Sacramento region as a premier provider of low-cost spay/neuter services, the Sacramento SPCA collaborated with local rescue groups, municipal shelters, feral cat caregivers, those in need, and the public to alter more than 19,000 animals in 2021. To help address the overpopulation of dogs in the area, the Sacramento SPCA offers low-cost and no-cost spay and neuter surgeries to the breeds most commonly found in the shelter through the "We Pay to Spay" program. We are supporting their work with a grant so they can offer 400 subsidized spay/neuter surgeries as part of the program.
